A female police officer was gunned down and a street cleaner left injured in the second attack to hit France’s capital, Paris in less than 24 hours, following the Charlie Hebdo shooting.
The officer, who is yet to be named, died earlier today (Thursday, January 8) following the shooting in Montrouge, in the south of the city.
Both had been described by a police source as being in a ‘very serious condition’ after the shooting following the morning rush hour shooting in Montrouge.
