AVIATION
- National Aviation Master Plan and Road Map – Developed, being implemented
- Air safety – Installation of cutting-edge navigational aids and Instruments Landing Systems (ILS), including runway lights and Total Radar Coverage (TRACON), to enhance air safety
- Airport infrastructure -For the first time in over three decades, all 22 federally-owned airports are being remodeled, and renovated resulting in improved passenger experience
- Cargo airport – 16 airports close to the nation’s food baskets have been designated for perishable cargo to enhance preservation, conditioning and transportation of perishable cargo in accordance with international standards and best practice
- New terminals for International terminals – Five modern international passenger airports – Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano and Enugu
- Safety and Navigational aids – Modernised, upgraded, expanded nationwide
- Accident Investigation and analysis laboratory – Installing of one in Nigeria. It is only one of the four in Africa and the only one in the West African sub-region
- US Category 1 Certification – Attained
POWER
- Power sector road map – Launched, undergoing implementation
- Privatization of power utility – PHCN companies (11 utility distribution and 6 generation companies) have been successfully privatized and handed over to new owners
- Bulk Electricity – The Nigeria Bulk Electricity Trader (NBET) has been established to drive private sector investment into the power industry by executing bankable purchase agreements with power developers
- Solar power – Two private sector-led, federal government-backed solar plants of 1,000mw each under construction in Yobe and Kano states.
ROADS
- Apapa-Oshodi Expressway, Benin-Ore-Shagamu Highway and Enugu-Port
- Harcourt dual carriage – Reconstructed or nearing
- Kano-Maiduguri and Abuja-Abaji-Lokoja – Undergoing dualisation
- Oweto Bridge across River Benue – Constructed
- Onitsha-Owerri and Vom-Manchok -Completed

- Lagos-Ibadan Expressway – Reconstruction and expansion works commenced
- Second Niger Bridge project – Concessioned to Julius Berger/AIM consortium. Early works commenced.

WATER RESOURCES
- Access to portable water – Nearly 70% of the population, the population Seven water supply projects have been completed, providing additional 4.3 million Nigerians access to portable water
- Irrigation projects – Significant progress has been made on major projects such as the South Chad, the Bakolori Irrigation Project and the Galma dam
- Dam projects – Nine dams have been completed in Akwa Ibom, Katsina, Enugu and Ondo states to increase volume of nation’s water reservoir by 422mcm
- Irrigated area – Over 200,000 hectares, leading to increased production of over 400,000 metric tonnes of irrigated food products
- Farmers’ access to irrigated land – Over 400,000 farmers
AGRICULTURE
- e-wallet – 6 million farmers registered on database. A first in Africa
- Access to subsidized fertilizers and seeds – Corruption ended. Farmers now receive subsidized inputs directly through e-wallet. Over N50bn saved so far
- Dry season farming – Dry season production through irrigation kick-started in 10 northern states –Kebbi, Zamfara, Sokoto, Katsina, Kano, Jigawa, Gombe, Niger, Kogi and Bauchi, resulting in an output of 1.07 million metric tonnes
- Rice output- Combined production of dry season and main season paddy now 1.76m metric tonnes –unprecedented in Nigeria’s history. Government policies have led to the establishment of 13 new rice mills by private investors
- Production of high quality Cassava flour to substitute Imported wheat in the baking industry – Expanded
- Agricultural orientation – Launched a self-employment initiative under the Youth Employment in Agriculture Programme (YEAP) called the ‘nagropreneur’ programme. This scheme, designed to encourage youth to go into commercial agriculture as entrepreneurs, plans to develop over 750,000 young nagropreneurs by 2015
- Wheat – Rapidly falling import
HOUSING
- Mortgage – The Nigerian Mortgage Refinancing Company (NMRC) has been set up to enable up to 200,000 affordable mortgages within five years
- Housing construction- Over 61,000 housing units have been built in six geopolitical zones to provide affordable and quality houses
MANUFACTURING
- Industrial revolution – President Jonathan has launched the National Industrial Revolution Plan (NIRP) on the entire value chain of sub-sectors such agro-processing (e.g rice milling, sugar procession, cassava for wheat flour and other products, etc., consumer goods manufacturing, cement, textiles and petrochemicals)
- Sugar policy – Government has developed the Sugar Master Plan (NSMS) to provide roadmap for 100% local production of sugar
- Cement – Net exporter. Nigeria has moved production from producing 2 million metric tonnes of cement in 2002 to a capacity of 28.5 million metric tonnes. Saved over N200bn in the process
- ECOWAS Tariff – Nigeria has negotiated a strong Common External Tariff (CET) agreement with our ECOWAS partners which would enable us to protect our strategic industries where necessary
ICT
- Mobile phones – 120 million
- Internet users – Over 60 million
- e-governance – Government currently delivers more than 50 services online, including passport and driving licence application process
- Venture Capital for ICT entrepreneurs – $15 million fund launched
- e-commerce – Nigeria’s e-commerce companies, such as Jumia and Konga, are among the fastest growing in the world
- IT access at tertiary Institutions – 27 federal universities have been connected via 10GBps meshed trunk circuits
- National Broadband Policy- Launched
- Teledensity – Over 80%
- Local production of tablets – Tablets, equivalent to the iPad, developed
- Rural phone access – Construction of 500km of fibre-optic cable to rural areas, with 3,000km more targeted for deployment in 2014
- Computerising schools – Computing facilities provided to 74 tertiary institutions and 218 public schools in the country
HEALTH
Life-Saving initiative – Under the ‘Saving One Million Lives’ initiative, over 433,650 lives were saved from November 2012 to June 2013 through scaling up of six cost- effective interventions including Maternal & Child Health, nutrition, prevention of Mother to child Transmission (PMTCT) of HIV, Provision of Essential commodities, Malaria control, routine immunization and eradication of polio
- Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NDCD) – Established
- Maternal mortality – Dropped by 50% in four years
- Malaria in children – Reduced
- Capacity for kidney – Strengthened with Lago transplant University transplant Teaching Hospital and University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital joining the league
- Community-based health Insurance scheme – Established in a number of communities in 12 state, thereby granting medical access to poor Nigerians
- Health insurance coverage – Over 8%
- The National Immunisation Coverage – Over 80%
- Under-5 mortality – Down to 94/1000 live births

EDUCATION
- Almajiri schools – 125 schools built in 13 states; 275 more to go
- Special girl schools – Under construction in 27 states
- Federal universities – 36, with 12 new universities (9 in the North, 3 in the South) established to enhance access to a Federal university across the country and absorb thousands of students who are denied university admission every year
- Presidential Special Scholarships for Innovation and Development (PRESID) – A total of 101 have been awarded to beneficiaries for training in top 25 universities in the world
- Basic school enrolment – Over 30 million
- O’level credit pass in English and Maths – 70%
- Innovation Enterprise Institutions – Over 100 Innovation Enterprise Institutions have been licensed to provide alternative access to higher education through technical and vocational education and training
- National Certificate of Education (NCE) awarding Institutions – 124
- Training of lecturers – Federal Government has sponsored 7,000 lecturers of federal and state tertiary institutions for post-graduate studies home and abroad to improve the quality of instruction
- Student enrolment in the Colleges of Education – Over 750,000
- Laboratories in the 51 Federal and State polytechnics – Rehabilitated with state-of-the-art equipment
- Unity Schools Government – In 2013 alone, Federal rehabilitated 352 laboratories and constructed 72 new libraries
