Inside the private world of quiet actress, late Moji Olaiya

The morning of Thursday 18th of May,2017 was welcomed with the sad news of the demise of respected Nollywood actress, Moji Olaiya.
Moji who was the daughter of highlife maestro, Victor Olaiya, reportedly died of cardiac arrest in the Canadian hospital where she gave birth to her second daughter in March.
Moji Olaiya was born on February 27, 1975, in Ekiti state.
She got married for the second
time in December, 2015,  after her first marriage to Bayo Okesola packed up in 2008.
Her fame skyrocketed when she featured in Wale Adenuga’s Super Story series,  “No pain, no gain”.
She joined the Yoruba movie industry and made her first indigenous movie “Agunbaniro”.
She has been a prominent female actress and has become more of a household name. Her diligence has earned her several awards, one of which is the Nigerian Police Force award for being a role model of Nigerian youths in the year 2015.
She was also made Ambassador for Peace by the US-based organisers of Arts peace award on 10th of December, 2016 in Itori, Ogun state.
The actress who was born a Christian and converted to Islam in 2014. She has featured in several movies among which are Shade blade, Nkan Adun, Omo iya meta leyi and several others.
She is survived by her husband,
two daughters (18 year old Adunoluwa and her new born who is just 2months old), parents and siblings.
