GBENGA Obasanjo’s ex-wife, Mojisola, has obviously put all the shame thrown her way by the monumental sex scandal that preceded the dissolution of her six year marriage to the son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo behind her.
This was evident on Friday, September 3, 2010, when she stylishly introduced to the world the new man in her life. Abiodun Akinkunmi (the gentleman who now rocks her world jolly) is said to be well connected in the information technology sector.
They appeared to many as the newest couple in town as they stepped out officially for first time after they tied the nuptial knot in a low key ceremony.
It was actually Moji’s father, Otunba Alex Onabanjo’s 60th birthday party, at the Civic Centre, on Ozumba Mbadiwe Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The social gathering was organized by the Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State born billionaire businessman’s daughters (Mojisola, Olabisi, Moyosore, Omobusola and Omodunni).
A source, who attended the private bash, confided in ENCOMIUM Weekly that it was a lovey dovey affair for Moji and Abiodun as they were all over themselves all through the soiree.
Attired in a turquoise blue flowing gown, Moji constantly looked into the eyes of the man that restored her joy and happiness.
Even when Abiodun’s aged parents were leaving the venue, the lovebirds, hand-in-hand, saw them to their car.
Meanwhile, findings by ENCOMIUM Weekly show that the beautiful lady is allegedly carrying the IT man’s (as Abiodun Akinkunmi is fondly called by friends and admirers) pregnancy. It is equally written all over her that she would be a mother again in a few months as her belly is already looking different. The new development believed to have informed her chosen attire for the night.
It would be recalled that Moji and Gbenga Obasanjo were joined in holy matrimony on Saturday, April 29, 2000, at Archbishop Vining Memorial Church, Ikeja, Lagos with the high and mighty in attendance. They have two kids (Bolu and Wura) to show for e short-lived union.
And opted to walk in different directions sometime in 2008, when the ex-president’s son alleged that the mother of his two children slept with his father (Chief Olusegun Obasanjo) and the father-in-law (Otunba Alex Onabanjo).
Consequently, they went to a competent court of law for the dissolution of the marriage. It was a protracted court case and it took several months before their prayers were answered.
Months later, Moji’s path crossed that of Akinkunmi and a serious relationship ensued. Now, they are married and interestingly expecting the first fruit of the union.
