Police declare Onome Dennis Adakpor ‘wanted’ over its involvement in homosexuality

The Nigeria Police Force, Lagos state has declared one Onome Dennis Adakpor,29, wanted following his alleged involvement in gay practices.

In a statement, the Department of State Criminal Investigation Department (CID), quoting an intelligence report, explained that Adakpor was allegedly caught with one Daniel Adogha ‘ inside a recreational center in an estate in Lekki Lagos while engaging themselves indecently as fellow men in Adakpor’s house and they were sighted by people.

According to him, Adakpor escaped the scene while his partner was arrested, adding that he was handed over to the police and then launched a search for Adakpor.

He added that Adakpor was invited by the police but his refusal to appear made the police place him on wanted list in November 2022.

The statement read: “In accordance with the law banning homosexuality, the Nigeria Police Force, Lagos State has declared Onome Dennis Adakpor, male, 29, wanted. He is from Delta State, dark in complexion, 6ft tall, and he is on the run following his involvement in the act.

Intelligence report reaching this Department indicated that the said Adakpor who rarely entertains female visitors in the estate has been in the same since his days at D9, Gate 3, Victoria crest 3 estate, Augusta amadi street, off orchid road Lekki Lagos.

“The Command has assured a handsome reward for whoever will provide useful information leading to the arrest of Adakpor, as he has been declared wanted by the police.” Police declare man wanted over alleged involvement in homosexuality”.
