Adeniji Adele’s burial fixed for Wednesday, May 11

The funeral programmme of former chairman of Lagos Island Local Government and Commissioner for Sports, Prince Ademola Adeniji Adele, who passed on in India on Thursday, May 5, 2016, of heart attack while exercising on the treadmill, has been announced by his family, encomium.ng was reliably informed.

The likeable politician and technocrat, 60 on January 13, 2016, will be buried on ,Wednesday, May 11, 2016,  at Abari Cemetery, Lagos Island, Prince Babatunde Adele announced on behalf of the family.

The funeral programme starts on Tuesday, May 10, with an over night lying in state at 712 Road, A Close, House 29, FESTAC.

On Wednesday, May 11, there will be another lying in state at the family house at 9, Idiomo Street, Isa Eko,from 9 – 11 am.

City Hall, Lagos, will host its own lying in state from 12 – 2 pm.

Prayers will be at the Central Mosque at 3 pm.

Burial will then be performed at Abari Cemetery at 4 pm.

Prince Ademola Adeniji Adele, who had a kidney procedure three years ago in India was back there for follow up. He died three days after the medical check up while exercising on the treadmill. He reportedly clutched his chest and shouted, My heart! He was with his wife Tawakalitu when he passed on.
