Apple loses $23bn after iOS glitch, shares drop by 4 percent

Tech giant, Apple, lost almost $23bn (N3.68tr) in value following its release of a second software patch (the iOS 8.0.2) for the troubled iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus yesterday (September 25) night.

The company said the patch promised to “fix an issue that affected iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users who downloaded 8.0.1” on Wednesday (September 24).
