AT the funeral of Taiwo Oshadipe today (Wednesday, October 15, 2014) at Victoria Court Vaults (Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos), her siblings (Bukola, Kehinde and Idowu) were enveloped by a blanket of sorrow, while the inspirational singer’s 14 month-old son, Obama was oblivious of all the pains.

At the grave side of the 30 year-old woman who died at 6.30 a.m on Friday, October 3, 2014, from cardiopulmonary failure, a din of dirges pervaded the atmosphere. Everyone looked forlorn and despondent, apart from the officiating ministers from Redeemed Christian Church of God (Abule Egba, Lagos zone).

Bukola Oshadipe, Taiwo’s elder sister was in a pair of jeans, white camisole and black jacket, with a white handkerchief covering her crown. She looked lost.

So was Kehinde, in a white gown and peeping black camisole. Her headgear was white. Black sunglasses cover her pain. She had to be held throughout the ceremony.

Idowu, the man of the house, adorned a cream shirt and red T-shirt underneath. He was equally distraught.

Obama, the 14 month-old son of Taiwo Oshadipe is too young to know what’s amiss. He was quiet all through…
