Cadilly Entertainment signs Singer, Y.Q

-Gets a brand new car!

This is obviously the best moment for award-winning singer, Yakubu Jubril famously known as Y.Q. The reason for this excitement is not far-fetched.

Last week, the fastest growing record label in the southern hemisphere, Cadilly Entertainment officially announced the signing of E Fi Me crooner in a multi-million record deal. Not only that, the deal, which came with a brand new caCadilly_YQ1(1)r, was presented to him on his birthday.

Former Storm Records artiste was happy about the new signing when he spoke with ENCOMIUM Weekly, on Saturday, August 16, 2014.

Y.Q said, “I give thanks to God Almighty for making this come to fruition. I’ve been patient and I kept telling myself to chill with a strong conviction that “There’s time to sow and time to harvest”. I believe this is my time of harvest I thank my fans and well-wishers for not giving up on me.

Y.Q came to limelight in 2008 when he featured his best friend, late Dagrin in the original version of E fi mi Le, before he went to feature great artistes like MI, Ice-Prince, Banky W and elDee in the remix of the song in 2012. He consolidated his effort with another banger, I Like Girl.

He was among the few Nigerian artistes that have shared same stage with international act like Akon and Rick Ross; and has done tours in the UK, United States, South Africa, Malaysia, Ghana, Dublin (Belfast) amongst others.

The multiple award-winning singer has collaborated with A-list acts such as Naeto C, M.I, Ice Prince, Banky W, Wizkid, Eldee D Don, Mode 9, Vector, Jaywon, Terry G, Dagrin (R.I.P), Ill Bliss just to mention but a few and is on the verge of taking his music career to the greatest of heights under the aegis of Cadilly Entertainment, home to three other artistes: Cj-Mama, J’Lar and Ucee Black.
