Customs boss defies Senate, wears mufti

The Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service, Col. Hameed Ali (rtd), is at the National Assembly Complex in Abuja in readiness for his appearance before the Senate today (Thursday, March 16).

In all-white kaftan and cap, against the instructions to adorn Customs uniform, he was seen with Senator Ita Enang (Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly matters).
Col. Ali was invited over the now discontinued move to check papers of import duties of vehicles on Nigerian roads.
