Two of our dollar billionaires can smile again as their net worth climbs northwards on the prestigious wealth scale.
Both Alhaji Aliko Dangote and Dr. Michael Adenuga, Jnr., have added more than $800 million to their fortunes in the last few days.
While Dangote scooped $600 million, Adenuga raked $200 million.
This evening (Wednesday, May 31) at 6:00, the 60 year old Kano born pride of Africa who is king of cement, sugar, salt and more, had $12.5 billion to his illustrious name on the Forbes real-time rich list. Just last week, Alhaji Aliko Dangote had $11.9 billion net worth.
Today alone, his fortune climbed by $387 million, and he settles at number 108.
Chairman of Globacom and Conoil, Dr. Michael Adenuga, 64, has $6.1 billion net worth, from $5.9 billion.
The telecoms and oil colossus who is the leader in property is at number 263 on the Forbes rich list.
FAMFA Oil’s Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija, 66, is at number 1,301 today with $1.7 billion (the figure against her name for a few months).
