According to a new study carried out on 8, 500 couples, overweight and obese men are 27 per cent more likely to have sons than slim folks.

The research conducted at the Peking University Hospital (Beijing, China), published in the journal of fertility and sterility revealed that the‘the present study is the first to report that overweight and obese men lead to a higher sex ratio at birth compared with normal weight men.’

More research is at work to determine why this is the case.
