Following speculations about his political ambition, Dr. Alex Otti, Group Managing Director/CEO of Diamond Bank Plc, says that there is no trace of truth in the stories being peddled by some politicians who claim that he has made public his intention to contest for Abia governorship seat in 2015.
Denying the allegations, he stated that he understands and feels the yearnings of the people of Abia who have continued to mount pressure, and are determined to choose a credible hand that will steer the affairs of the state.
In a statement, the bank described as misleading the various newspaper and online reports which suggested that Dr. Otti has thrown his hat into the political ring, restating that he is focused on his work as the CEO of Diamond Bank Plc. and has continued to show sterling results.
