DJ JIMMY JATT SHINES AT UNIQUE GENTLEMEN’S CLUB LAUNCH – Africa’s number one DJ, Jimmy Jatt was at his best at the official launch of Tony Ojo’s new ultra modern niteclub, Unique Club on Ogundana Street, Off Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos.

Held on Saturday, April 12, 2014, the event attracted notable entertainers as well as Nollyood stars. Also present at the occasion were top media executives and pillars of commerce and industry, who congratulated the man behind the fun spot, Tony Ojo for the initiative.

Said to have cost millions of naira, the new club boasts of executive bars, restaurant and a lounge for maximum pleasure and comfort of fun seekers.

 

RESIDENTS BATTLE RICHARD NNADI OVER NEW NITECLUB – The man behind the defunct Q Lounge, Richard Nnadi has serious problem with his new neighbours on Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The residents are strongly opposed to citing his new lounge, Xcape there. We even learnt that the aggrieved residents have petitioned the Lagos State government, alleging that the club would constitute nuisance in the neighbourhood. Richie, on his part, has intensified effort to garner the support of a section of the people.

Nnadi’s Xcape was completed weeks back, but fresh opposition from Adeola Odeku Street residents is now his headache.

 

DR. TUNJI BRAITHWAITE’S NEW BUSINESS – Elder statesman and founder of Nigerian Advanced Party (NAP), Dr. Tunji Braithwaite has a new business. The octogenarian and Lagos delegate at the Abuja National Conference recently established acquired a paper mill in Iwopin, Ogun Stae.

Iwopin Paper Mill, as the company is called, would be producing newspaper rims for prints. Business has since commenced at the factory.

 

RIKAOTO’S MARYAM ELISHA SIGHTED AT EKO HOTEL & SUITES – Luxury fashion designer and serial entrepreneur, Maryam Elisha was sighted at Eko Hotel & SuiteS, Victoria Island, Lagos, on the afternoon of Friday, April 25, 2014. Probably for a business meeting, the ravishingly beautiful former beauty queen was driving out of the hotel premises when we spotted her.

Rikaoto is one of the fast-rising fashion brands in Nigeria.

 

JIMMY LAI MUHAMMED ORDERS RANGE ROVER ENVOGUE, 2014 MODEL – Jimmy, son of APC, Interim National Publicity Secretary, Lai Balogun is a car freak. The owner of so many posh cars just ordered the 2014 model of Range Rover Envogue. Some of the autos in his garage include posh Nissan and Toyota SUVs and Maserati brands. Now, he has added yet another exotic ride.

 

PAPAS ENTERTAINMENTAND BELVEDE STAGE BEACH PARTY – Frank Okamigbo’s Papas Entertainment, in collaboration with Belvede is staging a beach party on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Ibeshe Beach, Lagos. Loads of artistes including 2Face Idibia, Davido, Iyanya, and others are expected there.

 

BOGOBIRI’S CHIKE NWAGBOGU SPOTTED – Boss of Bogobiri House, the art centre on Maitama Sule Street, Ikoyi, Lagos, was spotted on Sunday evening, April 20, 2014, with his family at the Lekki, Lagos Fun Turf ground.

He came in his LT bus decorated in Rastafarian colours.

 

TOSIN ADEDIRAN IS SICK –Leader of Eko Classic Agidigbo Band is reportedly sick! He was at Kings Hospital, Lagos Island, on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, to see his doctor.

 

BAYO FOLAWIYO IS BACK – Bayo Folawiyo is back from his trip. He has also moved from his private residence on Ribadu Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, to Manuwa Street, Keffi, in the same area of Lagos.

We were told the dude is renovating his Ribadu Road, Lagos home.

 

EX-SUPER EAGLES STRIKER, JULIUS AGHAHOWA AT SHOPRITE – Former Super Eagles striker, Julius Aghahowa, who just recently returned to the country, was at The Palms, Lekki, Lagos. Spotted at Shoprite, Aghahowa was accompanied by a friend to the mall.

And when they were leaving, they bought a lot of items. The ex-football star came in a silver G-Wagon Mercedes Benz with registration number, KSF 17 CV.

 

LAOLU SHODEINDE JOINS FUN TURF – Laolu Shodeinde of the defunct Rehab Niteclub has joined Fun Turf, the millionaires training ground. Spotted Mr. Laolu and some friends at the Fun Turf premises on Easter Sunday at about 7pm.

YINKA IBIKUNLE LOSES MOTHER – Mrs. Janet Foluke Ibikunle of Owode Ijako via Sango-Ota is dead. She died on March 3, 2014, after a brief illness, at 75.

According to the family, the burial rites will take place on May 24, 2014, at Owode Ijako, Ogun State. The late Mrs. Ibikunle is survived by three children, one of whom is Mr. Yinka Ibikunle of Virgin Beauty Industries, Sango-Ota.
