Ebola: America’s last patient released from hospital amid jubilance

The last Ebola patient in America, was yesterday (Tuesday, November 11), released from the Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan (New York) after he contracted the virus while treating patients in Guinea.
 
Dr. Craig Spencer (33) became the first person to be diagnosed with Ebola in New York (USA) and was admitted on October 23…he was released from hospital amid jubilation and cheers.
 
At a press conference upon his release, he said: “My early detection, reporting, and now recovery from Ebola speak to the effectiveness of the protocols that are in place for health staff returning for West Africa”.
