The Nigeria Police Force has paraded five arrested suspects for their role in the Enugu attack which led to the death of about 40 persons in the Ukpabi Nimbo area of the state on April 25, 2016.

She said, “The Nigeria Police Force in its renewed determination to rid the society of crimes and all forms of criminality, has arrested five of the suspects involved in the midnight raid on Nimbo community in the Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State on April 25, 2016 as operatives of the IGP’s Intelligence Response Team based on credible technical intelligence swooped on them.

“The IGP’s IRT, based on the intelligence gathered on the attack, arrested the following suspects viz: Mohammed Zurai, Ciroma Musa, Sale Adamu, Suleiman Laute and Haruna Laute, and recovered one Gionee L88 mobile phone with a memory card containing the video recording of the massacre in the community.”

 U. K. Charles – Kudos! Grill them until the remaining suspects are apprehended as the full wrath of the law takes immediate effect.

MJ – Did they have to wait for the President before clamping down on criminal activities? This is the job of the governor of the state. They are in charge of security of life’s. By the way, this modus operandi is very similar to that of Boko Haram attacks. This should be beyond grilling these guys, every state has the right to ban grazing of cattle’s, they should man it up and do the right thing.

Olly – I thought some were saying that it was not fulani herdsmen that committed the crime. So these people arrested are from where?. When people accused the fulani herdsmen , their myetti Allah group came out to defend and denied the involvement of fulani herdsmen . over to the group now. Let all the southern states rise up and say no to grazing reserves. Their plan is when they are killing people there would be noise then they would give them grazing reserves so they can stop killing. Let them go back to their backyard in the north to graze their cattle.period.

Fula – kudos to the police for apprehending these ciminals

Tobago – These are no ordinary herdsmen. There is a Boko Haram coloration to all these sudden upsurge in killing. They carry guns, machetes and other dangerous weapons and even took pleasure in videoing the killings. These are descendants of Uthman Dan Fodio whose objective was to conquer Nigeria. But we must do something before it gets too late. Fayose has taken an initiative and we have no choice, but to take our destiny in our hands.

Ifiok Sampson – The wickedness in the heart of these people is just unimaginable!

Otomololu – When herdsmen are carrying AK47 guns, this is more than shepherding…terrorism by other means.

Yarrow – Animals in human form, only GOD will judge you

Gbenga – Until a conviction is achieved and these blood suckers are sent to their graves, I choose to keep further comments to myself. Anyways, Kudos to the IG’s intelligence unit.

John Gbigbi-Jackson – HERDSMAN VENZA??!! how na?. these people are BOKOHARAM with sponsors disguising as Cattle rearers

Omotola – All States in Southern Nigeria should adopt Fasoye’s solution- Ban cattle rearing on our streets. poultry and piggery farmers have their farms, Fulanis must be forced to have their farms where they keep their cattle. I will not clap for our police for arresting those murderers, because that cannot bring back over 40 lives lost in the attack. Police should be proactive not reactive.
