-Keeps mum on sensational naked video where he bathed with blood
FOR Hon. Olusola Israel Adekunle, the immediate past chairman of Alimosho Local Government Council, Monday, December 29, 2014, will forever remain indelible in his mind.
It was the day a video appeared on the internet via Youtube showing him sitting naked on a horse performing some rituals.
In the video entitled APC A Satanic Party and allegedly posted by Archbishop Samson Mustapha Benjamin, the General Overseer of Resurrection Praise Ministries International a.k.a Jehovah Sharp Sharp, the former LG boss was seen sitting naked on a black horse holding a calabash and praying in Yoruba that he would not be caught by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Independent Corrupt Practises Commission (ICPC) or any anti-graft agency for any embezzlement he committed in the council.
He also prayed for protection against his perceived enemies. He also prayed for Asiwaju Tinubu and Babatunde Fashola.
In another part of the video, he was seen standing naked with the calabash in his hand saying the same prayers and pouring something that looked like blood on the shrine. He later bathed with the blood looking liquid.
When ENCOMIUM Weekly called the former chairman, he did not pick his call. He also did not respond to our text message which we sent to him.
The text message read thus: “Greetings and compliments of the season, sir.
“Sir, we watched a video on Youtube where a naked man sitting on a horse and holding a calabash prayed in a shrine. Also in the same video, the same man was seen bathing with what looked like blood and praying.
“The man, who posted the picture, one Archbishop Samson Mustapha Benjamin, the General Overseer of Resurrection Praise Ministries International, a.k.a Jehovah Sharp-Sharp claimed that you are the one in the video. We will appreciate it sir, if you confirm or deny that you are the man in the video.”
We gathered that Hon. Olusola Israel Adekunle, has been avoiding people since the release of the video which has gone viral on the internet.
A close family source told ENCOMIUM Weekly that he is very much around in his Alabata Street, Egbeda residence but avoiding people and screening visitors before allowing them into his compound.
We also gathered that his wife at a time had to ask his friends and elders in the area to talk to him when he threatened to commit suicide when the video was released.
We gathered that the former council boss must have been a victim of fraudsters who have been using the video to swindle him of huge sums of money when he was the chairman of the council and when he was relieved of his position in October 2014 and the money stopped coming, the fraudsters decided to release the video.
We also gathered the video was recorded sometime between 2008 and 2011 during his first term as the chairman of the council.
