The French President (Francois Hollande) has turned down the request of Wiki- leaks founder, Juliana Assange for political asylum.
The Australian whistle blower who has spent three years living in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London (the United Kingdom) wrote to Francois Hollande in a letter published by French daily newspaper saying, “Only France is in the position today to offer me necessary protection against the political persecution of which I am a target”.
