Gone are the days when football as a career was not given attention by any young individual who wanted to be prominent and wealthy. Today, sports and football in particular is one of the highest paying careers with players like Yaya Toure, Asamoah Gyan coming second, Emmanuel Adebayoor, Samuel Eto’o, Didier Drogba, Mikel Obi, Michael Essien, Christopher Samber, Kolo Toure and Seydou Keita who are the top 10 highest African footallers for 2015. As a result, these players live in some of the best homes and own some of the most expensive cars, thus living the life of the rich and famous.

Ghana’s Black Stars’ captain, Asamoah Gyan is no exception in this regard. The Al Ain, United Arab Emirate’s player, who is believed to be the second African highest paid footballer, with a take home of £7.5m yearly is said to have just unveiled a $3 million glass mansion. The mansion, from our sources is said to be a 16 bed, with a sizeable swimming pool, game room, live music room, video room, a large dining hall, Jacuzzi and marble walled bath rooms and gym, etc. with over 15 staff on payroll. Amazingly, it was his choice to officially name $3 million residential mansion after his music name LA BASILICA DE BABY JET during the house warming party for some of his close friends and other big shots which included the three time NPP presidential candididate Nana Akufo Addo, Nigerian’s nollywood sweet heart Ramsey Noah and AY Makun, the comedian, and many others.
The 29 year old and a father of three children : Floyd Gyan, Rafeal and Fredrick Gyan also has a fleet of expensive cars to show for his hard work, while he recently bought a Rolls Royce Phantom to add to the fleet.
Asamoah Gyan is currently making headline news in the media for allegedly impregnating an undergraduate, which he initially denied and later agreed to carry a paternity test to be sure he is responsible. The lady who goes by the name Sarah Kwabla threatened to release a video of their love escapades if he doesn’t own up to his responsibility.
