Glo urges Nigerians to be hopeful

Total telecommunications solutions provider, Globacom, has urged Nigerians to continue to keep hope alive as the country marks the 61st anniversary of its Independence.

The company released a statement on the anniversary in Lagos on Thursday in which it congratulated Nigerian citizens at home and in the Diaspora for their patriotism and hard work notwithstanding current developmental challenges.

“There is every reason for the country to celebrate its independence anniversary, as the current challenges facing us as a nation are not insurmountable. With unity of purpose, commitment, sacrifice, and continued patriotism we shall overcome”, Globacom stated.

It added that today’s prosperous nations also grappled with difficult challenges in their march to greatness and ultimately triumphed. “Nigeria won’t be an exception so long as we remain committed to building a prosperous nation where opportunities abound for all. On our part, we will continue to empower Nigerians with quality and affordable telecommunications solutions to enhance their progress”, the company affirmed.

The technology firm, which recently marked 18 years of operations and enabling firsts, urged all Nigerians to cooperate with political, economic, religious, and traditional leaders to fast-track the realization of developmental objectives for the benefit of present and future generations.

Globacom said the tremendous success of the telecommunications sector where almost everyone now has a phone and business, finance, education, social activities and other aspects of life are powered by telecoms is an indication of how far the nation has come and what can still  be achieved.

Globacom encouraged all its existing and prospective subscribers to avail themselves of its array of innovative products and services, such as Berekete and 22X, to achieve their goals and build long-lasting friendships.
