GOGOWE, a Nigerian female entertainer is set to capture the heart of music lovers with her three singles, I No send, Waka and Stand Up.
Although, she recorded 15 songs, three have been released. The songs are afro inspired tracks. Waka is a song that empowers the female folks, telling them to have confidence in their God given ability with their head up high. The energetic video was shot by Tom Robson.
Stand Up is a song that preaches unity among all races, faiths, cultures, the video was shot by Clarence Peters at Idanre Hills and Ilesha Waterfall. It showcased the beauty of different cultures. Her latest single, I No Send is Fela’s inspired afro beat track that talks about being yourself and not focusing on the opinion of other people.
Apart from being an artiste, Gogowe is also an energetic dancer, at four, she was the lead dancer at Aunty Jackie’s Nursery and Primary School. She was the head of liturgical dancers at Layola Jesuit College. Her music career started at four when her dad put her in a piano class, for Gogowe, music is one of the greatest educational tools that is why she makes it a point of duty to ensure that every song she drops contains a positive message.
