‘Why we staged the Showtime’-Amstel Malta Brand Manager, Hannatu Ageni-Yusuf
Amstel Malta is very thrilled at the reception of the concert drama concept. This edition of Amstel Malta Showtime has been the most explosive we’ve ever had and we are very glad as a brand that we decided to do this. We thought of a way to give young talents a better opportunity to showcase themselves, rather than just compete and walk home with cash prizes. The mentorship sessions were intense and we are confident that this experience will help launch these talents to the right path in their careers.
‘These new talents didn’t disappoint us’ – Art Director, ICE NWEKE
I am happy with the level of enthusiasm displayed by all five talents. When these talents were recruited from the auditions, we were skeptical about how fast they would blend into the play but I must say that just as we were impressed in Enugu, Lagos also didn’t disappoint us. Everybody brought in their A-game and the concert drama was a huge success.
‘Nigeria is blessed with most unique talents’ -SOUND SULTAN
This experience is worth every single hype. I’m very glad to be a part of this and I can tell you confidently that Nigeria is blessed with unique talents. We saw variety at the auditions both in Enugu and Lagos. So much so that we had an extremely tough time making our final pick and so had to give a number of talents the opportunity to perform even though they didn’t make it to the final 5. Big thumbs up to Amstel Malta for putting this together.
