SENATOR REMI TINUBU, SARAH SOSAN’S PRESENCE
Though of APC stock, Senator Remi Tinubu, wife of former Lagos State governor and opposition leader (Asiwaju Bola Tinubu) was at Koko’s wedding.
Former Lagos deputy governor, Sarah Sosan also came to rejoice with the PDP chieftain.
SENATOR NNAMANI SHUNS THE FRONT ROW
The chairman of the wedding and former Senate President, Senator Dr. Ken Nnamani chose a middle row seat in the church at Koko’s wedding.
While VIP guests went to the front, the former lawmaker remained with the rest of the congregation. It was only when he was recognized that he waved his hands from the crowd in acknowledgement.
ANDY UBA WAS ALSO AROUND
Former Anambra State governor and Senator of the Federal Republic, Andy Uba was at the church too. He came early so as not to miss any part of the wedding.
NDI OKEREKE ONYIUKE SO EXCITED
Former Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) boss, Dr. Ndi Okereke Onyiuke also attended the church all for Senator Ita-Giwa. She later told our correspondent, she is a close friend of the late Obioha. She prayed for the couple too, while wishing them all the best.
THE LONG WAIT FOR THE COUPLE
The wedding started very late. And this caused quite a lot of worries.
HOW LAGOS PDP RALLY ALMOST MARRED THE WEDDING
With all the roads in Lagos Island blocked as a result of the rally held by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos, it was more than enough pains for many guests who couldn’t make it to the church. Even the couple who came in a convoy of limousines and exotic auto brands couldn’t arrive the church in time. Going to the reception was also a difficult task as more guests were heading to the same place.
WHY PREZ JONATHAN MISSED THE WEDDING
The President’s itinerary, we were told, was over crowded. That was why he couldn’t make it despite the fact he was in town.
EXOTIC AUTO PARADE
With over six limousines, Rolls Royce, G-Wagon and other exotic auto brands at the wedding, you needed not be told it was a deliberate show of wealth and affluence.
There was the limo that conveyed the bridal train. Senator Ita-Giwa came in her stretched Infiniti FX35. The bride chose a grey 4matic while the groom joined his men in yet another limo.
ENTERTAINERS SHUN CHURCH WEDDING
We were wondering why no notable entertainer was at the church considering Ita-Giwa’s relationship with many of them, especially the actors and actresses. Some of them, however, performed at the reception even as we kept looking for her friends in Nollywood.
SENATOR ITA-GIWA AND HER LEBANESE FRIENDS
Senator Ita-Giwa must have serious relationship with Middle Easterners. We saw many of them attired in the aso ebi.
