Kogi West deserves better representation

*Senator Adeyemi Smart carries his campaign to Koton-Karfe

Koton Karfe and it’s environs deserve better representation to boost productivity and a much sustainable future, as the present representation at the Senate seat of the senatorial district isn’t making the local governments proud, according to Senator Smart Adeyemi, CON.

Senator Smart stated this today while making a courtesy call on the Ohimege of Koton Karfe, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Abdulrasaq Isah Koto, who later blessed the Senator towards the continuity of a successful campaign. 

During the visit, the Senator also highlighted the strides made during his tenure representing the Kogi West Senatorial District in the 6th and 7th Senate. Noting that upon his return to the National Assembly, he will work towards the engagement of youth in policy and job creation, as well as,  sporting activities. He went on to promise the creation of stadiums in various Local Government Areas to ensure that young men and women participate in activities to keep them away from being idle. 

The Senator also took to the streets of Edeha, where he was received by an enthusiastic and cheerful crowd before a 10 kilometre walk. 

While engaging the women of the community, he assured them of the expansion of their fishing businesses, to encourage the exportation of their sea food produce, both locally and overseas. 

He went on to assure his supporters, that he will do his very best to work in partnership with the All Progressive Congress’ House of Representatives candidate, Alhaji Isah Wambai.

The Senator was accompanied by the Director General of his campaign, Honorable Adoga Ibrahim (Special Adviser to the Governor MDG & Special Projects), and the Kogi West APC Zonal Chairman, Honourable Ropo Asala
