The maiden Management Retreat of Lagos Traffic Radio (96.1FM) came to an end over the weekend with a determination to vigorously implement the resolution in order to contribute positively to the development of the State.
In a Communiqué issued after the retreat, the management resolved among others decisions to up their game by laying more emphasis on providing effective traffic updates and travel advisory, just as it will also focus more on providing intelligence traffic reports to ease vehicular movement and reduce travel time of commuters through timely and accurate reporting.
According to the communique, the radio station will leverage greater online visibility through a robust website and interactive social media platforms to create a strong and vibrant brand personality for the Station.
The management said the dire need to contribute to the development of the State cannot be compromised, hence focus will be on professionalism at all times, especially during the broadcast of programmes.
The Communiqué emphasised the need to understand how to develop a vision and mission statement using teamwork to achieve a great synergy that would enable the Station chart a new path, using specific and defined languages as well as understanding the environment of motorists.
