Man who had fingers chopped off in accident gets £60 replacement

A 57-year-old man – who had his fingers chopped off by a mitre saw in a DIY accident in October last year – has been given a new lease of life after industrial designer, Casey Barrett offered him a cheaper replacement.

Arizona-born Howard Kamarata had three of his fingers severed and could not afford the £24,000 for a prosthetic hand, but got his life back on track thanks to a £60 replacement partly made on a 3D printer.
