Moji Olaiya will be buried in Lagos
Bayode Olaiya revealed in a chat with us this afternoon (Wednesday, May 31) that his sister will definitely be interred in the centre of excellence once a burial date is picked.
As it is, the corpse of the 42 year old Victor Olaiya Ekiti filmmaker is at a funeral home in Canada where she reportedly died of cardiac arrest following childbirth complications. All the paperwork – from autopsy to death certificate – are concluded. What’s left is to pick an airline and pay for her body (packaged in the cargo section of the plane) to be freighted home.
What’s more important is the wellbeing of her two month old daughter who will be brought to Nigeria same day.
The remains of the respectful, humble and quiet thespian is expected in the next few days.
And one cemetery being looked at for the burial of the mother of two daughters is Ebony Vaults in Ikoyi, Lagos (owned by Deinde Harrison).
Soon, a burial timetable will be decided on.
