Barely hours after President Muhammadu Buhari made a passionate plea to Nigerians to bear with him over the many difficulties ravaging the country, compatriots have made it clear that the suffering is becoming unbearable.
Buhari had last night through his spokesman, Garba Shehu assured Nigerians that he was focusing all his energy on changing the lives of Nigerians with a view to make it better than he met it. He said, “Change is a process. It does not happen overnight, it can be inconvenient, it sometimes comes with pain… these are just the darkest days before the dawn.”
Nigerians are, however, having none of it, taking to social media in droves to vent their frustrations with witty, angry and sometimes funny memes.
