Obama threatens vetoes and executive orders after Republicans sweep Senate polls

United States of America (USA) president, Barack Obama has threatened to pick up his veto pen which he has used only twice during his tenure when he stated: “Congress will pass some bills I cannot sign” in reaction to Tuesday’s (November 4) mid-term Senate elections, in which his Democratic Party lost.
He continued: “I’m pretty sure I’ll take some actions that some in Congress will not like. That’s natural. That’s how democracy works.”
Reacting to whether he would work with Republicans, he said he would principally work with them “if there are ideas that the Republicans have that I am confident will make things better for ordinary Americans.”
