OLX gives back initiative

The give back campaign embark upon by OLX is still ongoing. The campaign which started in November 2014 has four OAP’s Mannie, Yaw of Cool FM, Olisa and Dan Foster is in no hurry to end. Mannie and Yaw were the first OAP’s on the platform. Now, Dan Foster, Olisa have taken over.

Yaw was the first to sell a car on OLX, he donated N1,000,000 to The Downs Syndrome Foundation, Bethesda Home for the Blind and Modupe Cole Foundation.

Mannie on the other hand sold his juice maker; flat screen TV and generator, he presented a cheque to The Modupe Cole Foundation and the Committee encouraging Corporate Philanthropy.

The buyers who bought the products listed by the OAP’s had dinner with the OAPS.
Pacelli School for the Blind,was  the latest beneficiary of the charitable donation of N746,000 raised by the OLX Gives Back initiative in partnership with Dan Foster and Olisa Adibua.

The OLX Gives Back initiative supports Olisa Adibua and Dan Foster in donating to charities of their choice. The two personalities sold items on OLX and proceeds from the sale of the item were donated to Pacelli School for the blind.

Speaking at the event, the OLX country manager, Lola Masha said “We are the number one classified site in Nigeria and we recognize the importance of supporting our local communities. Masha also added that we partnered with Olisa and Dan because we appreciate their commitment to supporting the youth through their work on radio.
