PVC: FASHOLA SUSPENDS JANUARY ENVIROMENTAL SANITATION EXERCISE TO ENHANCE COLLECTION · Urges residents to keep their environment clean, obey sanitation laws

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola SAN, Friday directed the suspension of the monthly Environmental Sanitation exercise for the month of January to enable residents to go and collect their Permanent Voters’ Cards in their various wards and Polling centres across the State.

In a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Aderemi Ibirogba, the Governor said the suspension was necessitated by the numerous complaints of registered voters in the State that they were yet to collect their Cards adding that such people should devote today to go and collect their cards.

The Statement, however, urged residents to ensure that they maintain a clean environment as well as obey all the existing sanitation  laws of the state including not dumping refuse in unauthorized places adding that no restrictions would be enforced on account of this month’s Sanitation exercise.

ADEREMI IBIROGBA
