Seun Egbeegbe, who was granted bail by magistrate Y.O Aje-Afunwa (Mrs ) earlier today (Thursday, November 24) for alleged theft or 9 iPhone handsets, was still struggling to assemble the documents so that he won’t spend another night in detention.
Arrested and detained at Area F Police Command on Oba Akinjobi, GRA Ikeja (Lagos) since Tuesday, November 22, the controversial film maker and socialite was granted bail with two sureties with N2 million in their accounts and property in Ikeja area of Lagos.
When encomium.ng left the Rosaline Omotoso Court House premises in GRA Ikeja around 2:30 pm, he was still trying to perfect the bail.
Egbeegbe who wore black and white traditional baba and sokoto underneath a green and blue jumper and blue slippers was looking sober but fresher.
He was accused of stealing 9 iPhone handsets valued at N2.8 million at Computer Village in Ikeja on Tuesday, November 22, in the morning. He claimed he was trying to get the money from his vehicle when he was apprehended and battered.
