SOCIETY couple, Toyin and Tayo Alakiu are evidently singing discordant tunes at the moment present.

As a matter of fact, it’s all over between the duo as their 20 year old marriage has finally collapsed. And sources close to them have ruled out any possibility of coming back as husband and wife. More so, now that Toyin has picked her things together and left her matrimonial home. Informed sources disclosed to ENCOMIUM Weekly that the woman actually stormed of their MKO Abiola Gardens home a couple of weeks back.

Findings revealed the year long extra-marital affairs her estranged hubby is enjoying with Kehinde Ayoku, daughter of late wealthy owner of Ikoyi, Lagos based Golden Gate Restaurant, Solomon Adebayo Ayoku to be among other reasons for her resolution to walk out of the union. Those who are in the know see the decision as irreversible as she has allegedly vowed not to have anything to do again with the man that once upon a time meant the world to her. What we are yet to confirm is whether she would go to court to settle the issue once and for all. There are indications that she would revert to her maiden name without further delay.

A close source to the fun loving lady, who runs Fresh Looks on high brow Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos maintained that walking out of the man’s life remained the only option for her as she could no longer cope with Mr. Tayo Alakiu’s lifestyle. The source equally confided in ENCOMIUM Weekly that the past few years have literarily been hell for the woman most especially after Tayo took his relationship with Kehinde Ayoku a step further.

His affair with Kehinde was highly celebrated in the media just as he was ever ready to flaunt the silver spoon anytime. The affair was blessed with a baby boy on August 12, 2009. Also gathered that the daughter of Gbegbeleku, as her father was fondly called, threw a classy but low key birthday bash for the little baby when she clocked one on Thursday August 12, 2010.

We were unable to get Mrs. Alakiu to speak on the development until the evening of Saturday, August 14, 2010, when she responded, via text message. There is her reaction ‘It is well. I thank you very much and God bless you in all you do’.

Efforts made to talk to Kehinde on the issue were unsuccessful as she was unreachable as at press time.
