to be over now between the duo as their 20 year-old marriage has finally collapsed. Sources close to them have ruled out any possibility of them coming back as husband and wife. More so, now that Toyin has picked her things together and left her matrimonial home. Informed sources disclosed to ENCOMIUM Weekly that the woman stormed out of their MKO Abiola Gardens (Ikeja, Lagos) home weeks back.

Findings revealed the extra-marital affairs her estranged hubby is enjoying with Kehinde Ayoku, daughter of late owner of Ikoyi, Lagos based Golden Gate Restaurant, Chief Solomon Adebayo Ayoku and one Rhoda Eweka, a lawyer, to be among other reasons for her marriage break-up. Those who are in the know see the decision as irreversible as she has allegedly vowed not to have anything to do again with the man that once upon a time meant the world to her. What we are yet to confirm is whether she would go to court to settle the issue once and for all.  But there are indications that she would soon revert to her maiden name.

A close source to the lady, who runs Fresh Looks, on highbrow Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos, maintained that walking out of the man’s life remained the only option for her as she could no longer cope with the man’s lifestyle. The source equally confided in ENCOMIUM Weekly that the past few years had literarily been hell for the woman, most especially after Tayo took his relationship with Kehinde a step further.

His affair with Kehinde was highly celebrated in the media. The affair was blessed with a baby boy on August 12, 2009. Also gathered that the daughter of Gbengbeleku, as her father was fondly called, threw a classy birthday bash for the little baby when she clocked one on Thursday August 12, 2010.

We were unable to get Mrs. Alakiu to speak on the development until the evening of Saturday, August 14, 2010, when she responded, via a text message. Her terse reaction was, “It is well. I thank you very much and God bless you in all you do.”

Efforts made to talk to Kehinde and Tayo on the issue were unsuccessful as she was unreachable as at press time.
