Woman delivers baby mid-air, in flight from Asia to America

A 33-year-old woman has, interestingly, given birth to a baby girl on a transatlantic flight from Jordan (in Asia) to New York (USA), on Tuesday (January 20).

Jordanian Vera Jaber, who was traveling alone, was delivered of the ‘transatlantic’ tot by a nurse and doctor who happened to be on board. The baby was born right over the Atlantic on Royal Jordanian Flight J261, weighing 6lbs 5oz (3kg).

Both mother and baby were taken to Jamaica Medical Center (New York), where they were resting in the evening.
