6 unforgettable legacies of Pastor Adeboye

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the retiring General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, brought many changes to the church he joined in 1973.

The former Mathematics lecturer who became G.O in 1981 added many flavours to the conservative church.
And 6 of the unforgettable legacies of the 74 year old as compiled by encomium.ng are:
1. Massive expansion of branches of RCCG across Nigeria and the world.
2. Creation of model parishes  (with the first one established in May 1988 on Ladipo Oluwole in Ikeja, Lagos.
3. Redemption Camp on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway (Ogun state) in the mid 80s.
4. Redeemers’ University Nigeria  now in Ede (Osun). It was temporarily established in 2005 on the camp grounds.
5. Television and radio stations (Dove television, Life way TV, RCCG radio).
6. Holy Ghost service held every first Friday of the month.
