Amosun describes Alake as worthy royal father at 75

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has described the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, as a worthy royal father, as he marks his 75th birthday today (Sept. 14).
In a statement, signed by the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Otunba Adedayo Adeneye, Amosun hailed the selfless sacrifice of the monarch in the interest of the growth of the state and development of his subjects.
“On behalf of the government and good people of Ogun State, I rejoice with you on your 75th birthday. No doubt, your life is worth celebrating, with thanksgiving to God.
“Your story has been that of a fulfilled life, particularly with your successful 13-year reign, as the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland.
You have ensured the continued peace and tranquillity in your domain as well as supported our administration’s Mission to Rebuild the state, which has resulted in an enviable transformation.
“Also, your contributions to the significant cordial relationship among traditional rulers in the state, is commendable and worthy of emulation”, he added.
The governor wished the Alake continued prosperous reign and prayed that God grant him long life.
