Buhari condoles with Senator Wamakko over brother’s demise

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed profound grief over the death of Dangaladiman Wamakko, the younger brother of Senator Aliyu Wamakko from Sokoto State.

In a reaction to the sad news, the President said, “I am deeply touched by the demise of your brother who was a very dedicated community leader that not only shared your best aspirations, but also committed himself to promoting them.”

“May his soul rest in peace. May Allah forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds. May Allah comfort you and other members of the family at this difficult moment of grief,” President Buhari added.

Meanwhile, the President has also sent his condolences to the government and people of Kano State over the death of Alhaji Aminu Ibrahim, a renowned Chartered Accountant.

President Buhari said that “as one of pioneers of the profession in Northern Nigeria, late Aminu Ibrahim distinguished himself in his chosen career.”

According to him, “Accounting is one of the toughest subjects, but Aminu was undeterred because of his commitment to excel no matter the enormity of the challenge.”

“I am proud of Aminu’s record of mentoring others who also chose a career in Accounting,” added the President.

He prayed to Allah to bless his soul and reward his great deeds with paradise.
