Buhari greets veteran journalist Stanley Egbochuku at 70

President Muhammadu Buhari sends warm greetings to veteran journalist, publisher, and media administrator, Stanley Egbochuku, who turns 70 on March 23rd, 2019.

The President joins the Nigerian media industry in celebrating the former Vice President of African Capital Alliance, who worked variously with Daily Times of Nigeria Plc, Concord Press Nigeria Limited, Business Day Media Limited, among others, and was among the pioneers of business/financial reporting in the country.

As he turns 70, President Buhari salutes Egbochuku’s investigative prowess, analytical skills and knack for breaking down figures into everyday reality for readers, congratulating him for many years of courageous and insightful reporting and editing as a journalist, before establishing his own media firm.

The President believes the best years of the veteran journalist are still ahead as experience and exposure largely shape the quality of media outfits.

President Buhari felicitates with family members, friends and professional colleagues on the auspicious occasion, while praying for longer life, good health and strength for the journalist.
