Buhari mourns Sheikh Haruna Waziri Usman

President Muhammadu Buhari commiserates with government and people of Sokoto State over the passing of Sheikh Haruna Waziri Usman, 96, after a prolonged illness.

Sheikh Usman was the patriarch of the Waziri  Tambuwal family, and Governor Aminu Tambuwal’s uncle.The President said: “Sokoto State and indeed the nation lost a noble and distinguished scholar.”
President Buhari prays that Allah will forgive the shortcomings of the community leader and grant Waziri Tambuwal family the fortitude to bear the loss.
