Encomium
On the 21st of March, 2022, the Idoma Legends Awards Crew presented an Award of Excellence to chief Mike Okibe, the Akanaba k’idoma in recognition of his excellent humanitarian service, highest standards of ethical conduct, integrity, civic and social responsibility to Idoma land and its environs.
The award was received and honoured by our able Chief Mike Okibe himself. In his remark after receiving the award, Okibe said, “When you are recognized by an individual or group of people, it’s to encourage you to do more. For that, I will do everything in my power to support this great event (Idoma Legends Awards) to a higher level and make a great stride towards putting the Idoma nation on the map.”
