Don’t miss this week’s WWE action on DStv

Fans of the WWE can gear up for another thrilling week of action on SuperSport, with live airings of the NXT, SmackDown and Raw shows running from Thursday 5 to Tuesday 10 November 2020.

The action begins on the morning of Thursday 5 November with WWE NXT Episode 589. Johnny Gargano has become the first-ever two-time North American champion, and is relishing his role as a belt-holder.

“My destiny has been fulfilled,” said Gargano. “I yelled it from the treetops. I am the first two-time North American champion.”

However, his victory at Halloween Havoc was somewhat soured after his wife, Candice LeRae, was unable to take the NXT Women’s title from Io Shirai. Yet the pair will inevitably continue their comedy capers when NXT continues this week.

Saturday 7 November brings Episode 1107 of WWE SmackDown. After months of pursuit, Sasha Banks finally overcame her former best friend turned heated rival Bayley and captured her first SmackDown Women’s Championship in a gruelling Hell in a Cell Match to end Bayley’s year-long reign.

But just when “The Boss of the Cell” turned her attention to her upcoming Champion vs. Champion Match against Raw Women’s Champion Asuka at Survivor Series, Bayley interrupted and challenged Banks to a SmackDown Women’s Championship Rematch on this week’s SmackDown. It was a challenge Banks wasted little time accepting.

Tuesday 10 November will feature Episode 1433 of WWE Raw. With former WWE champion Drew McIntrye having brought ‘The Fiend’ into the title picture alongside belt holder Randy Orton, the tension will begin to ratchet up ahead of the next Pay-Per-View special, Survivor Series, later this month.

That event will also feature a showdown between two other title holders, WWE United States champion Bobby Lashley and WWE Intercontinental champion Sami Zayn. MVP, the head of ‘The Hurt Business’ has promised that Lashley will claim victory at that match.

“There’s no betting line on ‘win’ or ‘loss’ for this match,” explained MVP. “It’s only a case of how long… 30 seconds, 40 seconds, a minute. One minute is the over-under. You can bet on the over, you can bet on the under…. I strongly suggest the under.”

No rival can compete with SuperSport’s  coverage. Our viewers on DStv have found their #HomeOfSport.
