Don’t Miss WWE Smackdown This Week On DStv

Fans of the WWE can gear up for another thrilling week of action on SuperSport, with live airings of the NXT, SmackDown and Raw shows running from Thursday 15 to Tuesday 20 October 2020.

SuperSport is your #HomeOfSport and the only place to see all your favourites from the WWE Universe!

The action begins on the morning of Thursday 15 October with WWE NXT Episode 586. The return of Ember Moon from a long injury absence has shaken up the women’s division, and she formed a potent tag team alongside Rhea Ripley. However, given that both are eyeing Io Shirai’s NXT Women’s Championship, it’s a partnership that surely won’t last long.

“It’s been a while. I have been in isolation for 14 long, hard months,” said Moon upon her return to the ring for the first time in 2020. “I’m back and I see a lot of things have changed here. While I’ve been gone, I’ve found who the real Ember Moon is. No one is gonna walk over me anymore, no one is gonna tell me what to do. But one thing hasn’t changed… Momma wants some gold!”

Saturday 17 October brings Episode 1104 of WWE SmackDown. After defeating her former best friend and current SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley via disqualification last week, Sasha Banks has laid down a challenge for ‘Hell in a Cell’.

“I should have known you would intentionally get yourself disqualified,” fumed Banks. “I’m so done playing your games. You want hell? You got it! Me and you, locked inside of Hell in a Cell. Bayley, I am going to break you. I am going to end everything about you. At Hell in a Cell, I am going to take the one thing you love the most, finally… I am going to take your SmackDown Women’s Championship.”

Tuesday 20 October will feature Episode 1430 of WWE Raw. All eyes will be on Aleister Black after he issued a barbaric challenge to Kevin Owens.

“You know, Kevin, three years ago I breathed life into Aleister Black,” said the ‘Dutch Destroyer’. “While that guy believed that no man was ever truly good or truly evil, this guy is a vile, angry, son of a b****.

“All that because you couldn’t say you were sorry. All that because you couldn’t be a decent human being. Every fibre of my being tells me I have to fight you. See, I feel like this monster, a Frankenstein, that many people had a hand in, but most particularly you!

“Let’s be honest here, Kevin, this isn’t exactly healthy for me or for you. But I want to do barbaric things to you. I haven’t quite figured out what it is, but when we go at it… be ready for my dark side.”
