Ex Miss World University, LOVETH AJUFOH brings Miss Grand to Nigeria

Former Miss World University (2010)) and Miss UNILAG (2009), Loveth Udoka Ajufoh is set to stage Miss Grand in Nigeria. Miss Grand Nigeria is an affiliate of Miss Grand International.

Miss Grand International was established in 2013, as an annual international beauty contest by the Miss Grand International Organization based in Bangkok, Thailand.

The event which is set to be a pace setter in pageantry in Nigeria will hold on Friday, September 11, 2015, at Orchid Hotel, Lekki, Lagos..

Miss Grand is committed to the development of mankind by searching for a potential woman to encourage and run the campaign, Stop the war and Violence. It will also help people to avoid the conflict and violence that may lead to war in any form.

QLA Nigeria Limited, an event management organization based in Lagos secured the franchise of the Nigerian version of the pageant, (Miss Grand Nigeria) with the approval of Miss Grand International, President, Nawat Itsaragrisil.

Apart from reinforcing the overall objective of the programme, Miss Grand Nigeria seeks to promote peace and tourism in Nigeria while empowering young women to achieve their personal and professional goals using their beauty, talents and intelligence.

We gathered the event will go a long way in positioning Nigeria women as force to reckon with at the global stage.

With Miss Grand Nigeria, the era of intimidation and exploitation to be part of beauty contest is over. All it requires is commitment, self-confidence and trust in God.

Final screening of contestants for Miss Grand Nigeria will hold on September 1, 2015, at Orchid Hotels, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. The winner is going home with a sum of 1 million naira, a brand new car and the right to represent Nigeria at the MGI world finals in October 2015, in Bangkok, Thailand.

Miss Ajufoh is bringing her years of outstanding experience in pageantry; first as Miss UNILAG 2009 and World Miss University Nigeria 2010 and then represented Nigeria at the World Miss University finals in Seoul, South Korea that same year. She was later appointed as a UN student peace emissary. Miss Grand Nigeria will run with high degree of professionalism and integrity.

MGN 2015 apart from providing world class entertainment for it’s expected physical and broadcast audiences will be a great opportunity for companies to further consolidate their position as brand leaders in Africa. It will most certainly generate additional brand exposure and goodwill for them. The event which will attract many big names in the entertainment industry, celebrities and dignitaries, will be broadcast on radio and TV.
