Family blessed with quadruplets elated over N2 million gift from Femi Otedola Foundation

The Anastasia and Sati Mairiga family—whose plight after the delivery of their quadruplets in the Shendam local government area of Plateau state last month elicited concern—has received cash and gift items of over N2 million from the Femi Otedola Foundation.

Following an appeal for assistance from the family (who fled from their terrorism-plagued base in Wase to the Dilori community in Shendam), help arrived in good time via the Femi Otedola Foundation. Apart from N1 million cash, they received items for the babies, mother and father worth another N1 million.

Mr Philip Akinola, the foundation’s coordinator, presented the items to the family and restated that the organization’s main objective is to support the less privileged and restore hope.

“I thank God for everything because I didn’t expect this,” Sati Maigiri, father of the quadruplets, rejoiced. “I don’t know the people that came to help us. I have nothing to say but thank you. God bless everyone who is making this possible for us.”

Mrs. Philomena Mamuda (the supervisory councillor, social welfare of Shendam local government area) witnessed the delivery of the items and advised the family to put them to good use, maintain good personal hygiene and be prudent.

She prayed: “We appreciate God for this day, for what you have done. We pray God continues to bless you to keep helping others in society.”
