First call: Prince Segun Oniru humbles Oritsefemi

Double Wahala crooner, Oritsefemi was humbled by Prince Segun Oniru on New Year’s eve. This was how it happened:

D’Banj and Oristefemi were reportedly strolling from Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, to the car park when they ran into the Lagos prince.

Segun Oniru called D’Banj into his Range Rover Sport. Immediately D’Banj entered the ride, Oritsefemi opened the owner’s side of the door uninvited. That was the reason angry Prince Segun Oniru had to walk the rave of the moment out of his white Range Rover.

With Oritsefemi’s bloated ago deflated, you could imagine his next move.

TIMAYA LAUNCHES 2014 LEXUS JEEP

Music star and Egberi Papas 1 of Bayelsa, Timaya has acquired another posh automobile. This time, the artiste went for the latest Lexus jeep, the 2014 model to be precise.

The car freak already has a G-Wagon, Bentley, Range Rover Sport, among other rides. Our reporters sighted the Bayelsa born music star in his latest auto on Monday, January 5, 2015.

UCHE OLISEH’S 2LOUNGE RESTAURANT SHUT!

2Lounge Restaurant and Bar, managed by Uche Oliseh, younger brother of ex-soccer star, Sunday Oliseh was finally closed down on Friday, January 2, 2015.

Sources claim the fun spot is enmeshed in alleged N17 million fraud. It was further alleged that the front man of 2Lounge, Uche Oliseh has since bolted out of the country to Holland.

Interestingly, his business partner, simply called Efe, is said to have launched a man hunt for Sunday Oliseh’s blood brother.

SAHEETO FLAUNTS 2014 FORD JEEP

Similarly, king of small chops, Saheed Kekere Ekun is now a proud owner of 2014 Ford SUV. The managing director of Saheeto parked the car at his Lewis Street, Lagos Island office on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 6, 2015.

Former Super Eagles’ player, Celestine Babayaro is in the country. We first sighted the talented ex-international at Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos, on December 31, 2014. He was also at D’Place by Papas during the yuletide.

B-Red, an artiste, on Davido’s HKN label was at D’Place by Papas on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. B-Red now cruises in a black tinted Camaro Sport car.

KFC, LEKKI RAZED

KFC Restaurant on Admiralty Road, Lekki, Lagos, got burnt on January 3, 2015. The fire which started from the kitchen spread to other parts of the building before fire fighters came to their rescue.

WALK FOR PEACE 3 REVERBRATES

The last edition of the annual Walk for Peace and Development held on December 23, 2014. Organized by Deji Martin Laurent of Silverbird Group, the walk is still the talk of the town. Mr. Laurent, a social entrepreneur, leads Eti-Osa Development Initiative. He’s also an aide to the chairman of  Silverbird Group, Ben Murray Bruce.

HEBREW DAUGHTERS CLINIC RESUMES FEB 7

Hebrew Daughters Clinic, incorporating Safe Healing Nursing Home, Agric Quarters, Ojo, Lagos, is a non-denominational faith assembly of married women, single ladies, pregnant women, nursing mothers and girls above 18. The Saturday, January 10, 2015 meeting didn’t hold because Divine Increase Assembly, the mother church, was on a 21-day fasting and prayer.

According to the head of the assembly and proprietress of the Nursing Home, Pastor Favour Phillips, expectations at the clinic include healing broken marriages, antenatal clinic, pre-marital relationship, virus diagnosis and cure, sanitation and good health management at home, financial and investment management, birth control and family planning, pastoral counselling and prayer, etc.

Pastor Favour Phillips said the meeting is every second Saturday of the month from 7-9am at Increase Land, 16/18, Summit Street, Victory Estate, by Iyana School Bus-Stop, LASU/Igando Road Iba, Lagos.
