Paddy Adenuga, son of billionaire businessman and chairman of Globacom, Dr. Mike Adenuga, Jnr, embarked on a late night shopping spree on Friday, August 30, 2013. Sighted at Mega Plaza around 11pm, Paddy, who came in a black sports car and police escort van, was given the rare privilege of patronizing the mall as a lone customer that odd hour.

Before he left the mall, on Idowu Taylor Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, he dashed out N20,000 to one of the staff that attended to him.

 

FUSION’S KOREDE ROBERTS BUYS PORSCHE 911

Frontman of Fusion, on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, Korede Roberts has reportedly bought a sparkling new Porsche 911 car. Those who have seen the wonder-on-wheels described it as heavenly.

Many claimed the man of style behind the clothing and accessories store parted with $150,000 (N24 million).

MADAM BRAITHWAITE SPOTTED AT SANDGROUSE MARKET

Dr. (Mrs.) Braithwaite was at Sandgrouse Market, Lagos Island in the afternoon of Tuesday, September 3, 2013. The buzz is already in town as silver-spoon kids, the upwardly mobile persons are warming up to storm the place for the grand opening.

Bite Billionaire’s Lounge is nestled on the ground floor of Fanis House on Adeniyi Jones Street, Ikeja, Lagos, a building that has been the office of expatriates, in Nigeria. The ambience of the lounge attests to the owner’s high taste for luxury, and according to Wale whose business interest cut across many divides, “Everything is set for the opening. Also at Frank Okamigbo’s D’Place on Saturday, September 31, was the second son of billionaire businessman, Chief Sunny Odogwu (Emeka).

Emeka Odogwu, who stormed the lounge in his black tinted Escalade jeep didn’t stay long there. He left around 4:45am.

 

JIMMY LAI-BALOGUN SIGHTED AT THE PALMS

At about 6pm, Thursday, September 5, Jimmy Lai-Balogun was spotted at The Palms, Lekki, Lagos. The dude came in his Maserati Coupe with customized registration number, 1809. Jimmy’s ride instantly announced his presence owing to the noise that emanated from its silencer.

He later stepped out, made it to an ATM before walking into the shopping mall.

Big businessman, Kayode Odeleye is expanding his company, Kayus Battery. Already with a corporate office on Foresyth Street, Lafiaji Street, Lagos, he has also opened another branch at 12, King George V Road, Onikan, Lagos.

The outlet, patronized by top celebrities, is specifically for sales and services of batteries.

TOP BROADCASTER, FRED NWAULUNE LOSES FATHER-IN-LAW

The presenter of the very popular pidgin English programme on Metro 97.7 FM, I Beg Una, Fred Onyeka Nwaulune is bereaved. The Minister of Enjoyment, as he is fondly addressed on radio, lost his father-in-law, Pa Clement Chukwuma Ezeogu, recently, after a brief illness. According to the burial plans as released by the family, there was Christian wake on Thursday, September 5, 2013, at his residence, Atanda Jinadu Stret, Afromedia, Ajangbadi Ojo, Lagos by members of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, Adaloko-Ajangbadi by 6pm.

Friday, September 20, 2013, body leaves Amaigbo Joint Hospital in Nwangele local government area in the morning for a brief lying-in-state at the Ezeogu family compound, Umuozu in the same local government area.

The remains of Pa Clement Ezeogu would shortly leave for St. Anthony Catholic Church, Umuozu for funeral service before interment at the Ezeogu family compound, Umuozu.

He is survived by a wife, four children, many grandchildren and two in-laws among whom is Fred Onyeka Nwaulune of Metro FM.
