GRIDLOCK EASES AS AGIDINGBI/WEMCO JUNCTION RE-OPENS

The gridlock which tormented motorists and commuters for about a week around Berger, Ojodu, Omole, Ogba axis of Ikeja,Lagos has eased following the re-opening of Lateef Jakande Road (Agidingbi) by Wemco Junction.

Earlier this morning (Monday, April 7, 2014), the traffic jam was far more bearable, and the fender to bumper scenario improved.

Apart from the slight traffic by Ogunnusi Road, Lateef Jakande Road T-junction, movement was better.

The construction of a drainage system necessitated the closure of the road on Friday,  March 28, 2014.

And now that the construction, from Wemco Road to Omole has been completed, less time will be spent on the axis.
