How Celebs Would Spend Christmas (2)

Christmas is here again! The season to share and be merry. The frenzy has already hit town with carols everywhere and beautiful decorations. It is a period many do not joke with, especially Christians who will be preparing very well for the celebrations.

After the Christmas celebrations, comes the New Year. Some celebrities ENCOMIUM Weekly spoke with shared with us how they are going to spend the festive season and their most memorable celebrations….

 

ABIOLA ADEBAYO (Abiola Eyinoka), Actress – I usually celebrate my birthday on Christmas day, all I do is go to church with few friends and family around. Except I am travelling out and since I am not travelling, I am just going to be at home with my family and few friends.

Every Christmas is memorable, first, because it is the celebration of the birth of Christ, it is a season of love and because it is usually attached to my birthday, it is always special and memorable too.

 

NIKKI LAOYE OTURU, artiste – This Christmas, I will be spending the day with my special family as always. Our beautiful beneficiaries at my Angel 4 Life Foundation on our Christmas Day Out. Every year, we set up a day of fun, movies and treats for young people living with disabilities and give them a memorable Christmas. We will be doing the same this year.

Each Christmas since I was a child has been memorable because each one has its special moments. But Of course, all the Christmas days spent with my dad remain the best because all I have now are the memories. He made each one special for every year while he was here with us. Lots of laughter, mischief and great fun with good food.

 

MC ICE, Comedian – I have made provisions for this Christmas to be memorable for my family knowing full well that we are essential duties workers being entertainers and more important, as an on air personality. we have to be on duly to get the job done. So I will be spending it at work.

I think all Christmas since I got married have always been memorable.

Christmas rice and stew has this special way it tastes.

 

SOLA KOSOKO,  Actress – I will be celebrating Christmas with my younger brother, Aderogba Kosoko and his family in England, UK. I and my kid brother, Afeez Kosoko and my baby, Oluwasindara Abina are already here with him where he lives in Portsmouth with his wife and kids. We will be visiting Stamford Bridge Stadium because he is a Chelsea fan. We will also be watching live performances at O2 Arena and Royal Albert Hall. We will be visiting London and tower of London, Royal Museum, Greenwich.

 

KAYODE SALAKO, Activist – We’re preparing for both Christmas and New Year. But my wife, Foluke and our children will spend the period in London, UK while I will spend mine in Nigeria, both within and outside Lagos. I just thought that there is no need going abroad again because I just came back about two weeks ago from the tour of four countries – Republic of Ireland, Germany, Canada and United States of America. Every Christmas has been good and memorable but the most memorable one remains the year I got married to Foluke Daramola. It was like a honeymoon for both of us. We really enjoyed the period because we had fun.

 

COSSY ORIJAKOR, Actress – I will be spending my Christmas in my village, Anambra state to be precise. Christmas in my village is a memorable experience because of the local food which is very different and I get to eat variety of fresh soups.

 

MIDE MARTINS, Actress – For now, I am going to Dubai with my family. Last year’s Christmas party, I had the opportunity to meet with my long time friends from way back in secondary school and I felt good seeing them again.

 

RONKE OSHODI-OKE, Actress – I am celebrating it in Lagos with my family. I will take the kids out to have fun.  My most memorable Christmas was in 2004. I celebrated it in the UK and it was so boring. I can never forget it. There is no place like home.

 

SAIDI BALOGUN, Actor – I will be in Lagos for the celebrations, both Christmas and New Year. There is plan to visit a lot of places and attend some events. Every yuletide has been memorable, and this one also won’t be an exception by the special grace of God.

 

KLINT DA DRUNK, Comedian – As an entertainer, this is our season, it’s the season of celebration, even though things are slow. It is not really possible for any entertainer to relax in this period. Right now, I’m in Abuja, from here I’ll head to Lagos where I have some events, parties lined up.

I would have pointed past ones, but I think this one would be my most memorable because my wife gave birth to my first and only daughter on December 1.

It’s my early Christmas gift and I don’t think anything else can top that, maybe in future, but right now this is my most memorable. I got a daughter for Christmas.

 

FUNKY MALLAM,  comedian – I’ll be spending Christmas with friends and family, having good time and visiting places. We sometimes quietly go to less-privileged homes with some gifts and have good time with them, then leave quietly as well.

My most memorable Christmas was a long time ago in Umuahia. I remember that time we went to some of my friends’ hometown and spent the whole week. At that time, nobody even knew if I was a Christian or Muslim. We really had great time back then. I think that’s the most memorable Christmas I ever had, I will never forget it.

 

BASKETMOUTH,  Comedian – I plan spending Christmas with my family. I’ve cancelled every gig I have around Christmas so I can get to spend time with them.

It’s quite hard to pick one as the most memorable because they all leave different memories, remarkable things happened on different occasions. So, I can’t really say which particular one is the most memorable, all of them have been very memorable. Every Christmas has been awesome.

 

BEVERLY NAYA, Actress – I am celebrating Christmas in Lagos with my family and friends. My best Christmas was in 1999, when I travelled to New York, US. I spent Christmas with my cousin and it was lot of fun.
