Popular film maker Lawrence Onuzulike known as Lurenzo has found his missing rib in Patience Yisa. They had their traditional marriage on Saturday, August 9, 2014, in far away Idah in Kogi State.
ENCOMIUM Weekly had a chat with him about also love life, his past relationship that produced a boy.
Congratulations, how does it feel to be in love again?
It feels great. It’s hard to find a wife who wants the best out of you. It is really great being in love again. I have been in love a few times but I never felt anything like this.
How did your path and hers cross?
We met through a mutual friend, Chidi Emmanuel, popularly known as Prince Wester, who is an ex-Super Eagles player.
How did you propose to her?
We were talking for months before we actually met but during that period, we were talking on phone, I knew I have met my wife. So, when we finally met, I proposed to her.
How long have you known each other?
We have been talking since last year but we met in May. I will say a couple of months, we decided to take it further in August.
What attracted her to you?
She is what I want in a woman. She has the qualities other women desire to possess. She is God-fearing, educated, hard working, good looking and her carriage as well enticing. She carries herself elegantly.
What is the best thing about being married?
The best thing about being married to someone who truly loves you is that you progress in almost everything you do. Your mind will also be at peace always.
When are you starting a family?
God gives children. It is something everybody prays to have. God will bless us with children, hopefully, right away.
What happened to your former marriage?
If you mean my former relationship that produced a boy for me, nothing much happened, just that what I was told when the relationship started wasn’t what I ended up seeing. She was a very nice woman and a great mother to my son, but we are better off as friends. The decision I made is that I will never be in a relationship or marriage I wouldn’t be very happy in. I simply don’t want to manage. We are great friends now though.
What about the children the relationship produced?
She had a fine baby boy for me and we are both happy about even though I hardly speak about it in public.
Is your new wife aware that you were once married and had a child?
My wife is aware of all my relationships, including the most serious one that produced a baby boy.

How does it feel finding love?
It really feels great, you know it’s hard to find a man who wants nothing from you but marriage, so I feel lucky.
How did he propose to you?
I least expected him to propose when he did because we have been friends for sometime but we didn’t meet each other till this year. When we finally met, he proposed. It was nice though.
How long did you keep him waiting before saying yes?
I kept him waiting for just a couple of days, I really wanted to be sure of what I was going into. I wanted to be sure I was also ready. In fact, I laughed at first.
What do you cherish most about your man?
He is a very patient man. He doesn’t get angry quickly and he is also quick to forgive.
For how long have you known each other?
We have known each other for a year now.
How many children are you looking at?
I am looking at four children, though he wants two.
